In Swiss sport, the dignity of all people involved should come first. Athletes, coaches and everyone involved need healthy, respectful, fair and successful sport. Ethical violations and transgressions have no place here. Swiss Olympic's Ethics Compass raises awareness, provides information and encourages ethical conduct, thereby improving the quality of sport.

But what exactly does that mean? Acting ethically requires joint reflection on the right balance. Both "too much" power, ideals, closeness or pressure, but also "too little" can violate dignity. Using descriptive terms and concrete examples, the compass shows how a situation should be classified. Is it in the green, gray, orange or red zone?

Those affected and those involved will find specific tips, assistance and possible courses of action. Because looking alone does not protect you - you always need the courage to act.
