As of February 1, 2024, the silver sealing strip will no longer be used in doping controls conducted by Swiss Sport Integrity. This is done to harmonize with international practice and standards.

To date, Swiss Sport Integrity has used an additional sealing strip for the cardboard box in urine testing, but this additional step will no longer be used in the future. The security and integrity of the samples will continue to be guaranteed at all times through the special tamper-evident sealing system of the sample containers and the sealing of the plastic bag provided.
