Are you personally affected, or have you witnessed something? Then speak up! The Swiss Sport Integrity advice center is open to anyone wishing to report potential violations or abuses – also anonymously! The independence of the Foundation guarantees that reports are handled confidentially and consequently adressed.

What can be reported?

In principle, ethics violations, abuses within sports organizations and doping offences can all be reported, along with any suspicions. Swiss Sport Integrity is the responsible advice center in Swiss sport for these issues. Following an initial consultation, it will provide information about how to proceed and analyze and pursue any suspected violations, where necessary.

In some cases, external advice centers may be better suited or hold responsibility. A corresponding report should therefore be submitted directly to them, as appropriate:

Suspected manipulation of competitions must be reported to the Swiss Gambling Supervisory Authority (Gespa): Contact form
Any complaints about the selection process (squad selection etc.) or breaches of federation-specific regulations must be reported directly to the corresponding National Sports Federation.

In case of doubt, report the incident or suspicion to Swiss Sport Integrity via the reporting portal or by telephone. Employees of the reporting service will direct you to the appropriate advice center, if required.

How can I follow up on my report (Postbox)?

Once you have submitted your report, you can set up your own secured postbox. A specialist from the Swiss Sport Integrity Foundation will contact you via your secured postbox. This specialist will let you know what happens to your report or might ask you questions if any details are still unclear. You will remain anonymous also during this dialogue. Please consult this postbox regularly. Due to the protection of anonymity, new messages will only be visible in the postbox after you have logged in again. There will be no notification via your private email.

Questions or uncertainties about ethics in sport? – SSI Hotline

The employees of the reporting service not only respond to reports via the hotline, they also advise you if you have questions or uncertainties about ethics in sport. Whether you are an athlete, a coach, part of the support personnel, a representative of a club or federation, a functionary or a parent, SSI will be happy to advise you if you are having any questions or doubt on the subject of ethics in sport.

The employees of the reporting service will listen to you, inform you of the steps you can take, and, if necessary, refer you to other advise services. The facts discussed are not automatically recorded as a report, unless the caller so wishes. The first consultation can also be anonymous.

What happens once a report has been submitted?

Information about how to proceed is provided during an initial consultation and then, if required, the matter is referred to an appropriate advice center for more detailed input. The submitted report is then checked and forwarded to the law enforcement authorities, where appropriate. Where the responsibility lies with Swiss Sport Integrity, a preliminary investigation is carried out. If this reveals information about a violation of the Ethics Statute, an investigation is instigated.
